'Sup guys. Its The BiSi.
So I decided to give blogging another try. I won't lie, its purely out of boredom and a lack of anything for which I qualify as being worthwhile enough for. But I do like to think my drive also contains a certain penchant for sharing my views with an audience. As stated in the description, I am primarily a gamer, a music enthusiast and an otaku (a manga/anime connoisseur, for those not in the know) so be warned, my posts are gonna just be random stuff related to that. I am also a freelance thinker on the subject of humanities. Expect a few philosophical posts, guys.
A few words about the art of blogging.
Let me just say this first, the only thing I have technical knowledge about is my studies. I believe in the adage "Experience is the best teacher". Of course, the good souls who gave us this one were'nt of the opinion that formal teaching should be outright abolished. But I still believe in being a free wily as I am pretty confident of my ability to view myself and my surroundings objectively and indulge in routine view-and-review procedures to gauge out any mistakes and how to improve upon them.
Doesn't mean I'm infallible though, that would be God.
Coming back, the art of blogging. I have absolutely no clue if there even is such a thing, but I guess there must be a standard albeit unofficial tradition to blogging. Or is it that one just types words and condenses them to form one lump of text and calls it a blog? That would be convenient.
I tried blogging about a year ago. It was on a new idea for a novel continuing the manga series Bleach from where the anime left off (I think it was episode 366 at the time, the start of the Quincy arc). I decided I would publish a chapter daily, then cut down and decided on a week.
Bad idea.
I found myself to be losing the drive to turn up every week and if I missed one, it felt like a certain "flow" was broken that messed up the "feel of the chronic blogger" as I termed it at the time. The whole episode was a complete fiasco.
Scratch the 'complete'. I did get about 5-6 chapters I think.
Anyway that's all in the past and its a new leaf now. So I won't make any promises about writing every week or so, since "I'm sooooo changeable" (a la Jim Moriarty, BBC's Sherlock Season 1). But be assured, its gonna be close to it.
I would like anyone reading this blog to get a spark ignited in his mind. It could be anything; a doubt, an opinion on the blog, its content, its author (ahem), any kind of agreement or disagreement or a mistake to be pointed out, any tips for improvement on anything you feel like. That's what the comments section is for guys.
Guess that pretty much covers everything. Stay awesome peeps!
